Emma is a researcher and analyst with years of experience in fragile settings within the humanitarian and development sector. Emma has designed and managed multiple research and evaluation projects in the Middle East (Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan), Central Asia (Afghanistan) and East Africa (Somalia).
She worked within NGOs and INGOs in diverse volatile settings and worked directly with displaced populations in Palestine, Iraqi Kurdistan, Colombia, and Djibouti, where she received UNHCR training on responding to gender-based violence while working in protection and livelihoods. Emma's technical experience expands across diverse sectors, including but not limited to: stabilisation, livelihoods, social cohesion, conflict analysis, inclusion, gender and protection.
