Johan VERHEYDEN is a researcher and communicator with more than 25 years of experience in development assistance. His experience as both a lecturer and practitioner of quantitative and qualitative research methods are instrumental in defining the scope of studies and evaluations, identifying the indicators (quantitative and qualitative) and structuring  research reports.

As Senior researcher, Johan in general takes the overall lead in projects and studies and is the main interlocutor with the client. As CEO of Aries Consult Ltd., he ensures the quality and timely completion of all deliverables.

As an expert on research methodology, he will take the lead in the methodological aspects of the assessment and the development of data collection tools and protocols. As a statistician, Johan also leads the validation of research data collected in the field and of (open source) statistical data and the analysis of quantitative data.

He also uses his experience and skills as a communicator to ensure well-written, crisp final deliverables. Johan is fluent in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish
